This session is an introduction to bladder problems in women and will look at conservative treatments that could be given easily to patients in primary care.
Course content/learning outcomes
By the end of this session attendees will have a greater awareness of:
• Introduction to female bladder symptoms and their management
• Understanding and interpreting symptoms
• Interpreting a bladder diary, symptom questionnaire and urinalysis result
• Red flags- when to refer to secondary care
• Awareness of treatment options available prior to secondary care referral
