Sexual Health Update for Primary Care
This Sexual Health Update session provides primary care healthcare professionals with an evidence‑based overview of common sexually transmitted infections, vaginal infections and preventative strategies. The course strengthens clinical confidence in recognising symptoms, taking a structured sexual history, understanding incubation periods, and selecting appropriate testing and treatment pathways.
Delegates will also explore barrier methods, vaccination‑based prevention, and how to identify cases requiring referral to GU/CaSH services. The session supports safe, inclusive and effective sexual health consultations within general practice.
