Contraception for Practice Nurses (basic level)
This introductory contraception course provides essential training for practice nurses in primary care who want to develop confidence and competence in supporting patients with contraceptive choices. Aligned with national guidance, the session explores all contraceptive methods, their indications and effectiveness, and how to deliver safe, patient‑centred consultations. Delegates will also strengthen skills in emergency contraception, history‑taking and managing repeat prescription scenarios through practical case studies.
